Abilities: The Byakugan (白眼; Viz "Evil Eye" or "All Seeing White Eye"; Literally meaning "White Eye") is a genetic trait that is shared amongst the members of the Hyuga Clan. Those that inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes (Neji's and Hinata's eyes seem to have tints of lavender and blue-grey, respectively). Although it is not stated directly, it is assumed that all members of the Hyuga family possess the Byakugan. It is a common, although unproven, belief that the Sharingan is a genetic offshoot of the Byakugan.

Just like the Sharingan, the Byakugan can also be transplanted into another person, as Ao of Kirigakure did so. Transplanted Byakugan eyes can be activated and deactivated at the user's will, unlike the Sharingan which is always active.

History: The Hyuga clan (日向一族, Hyūga Ichizoku; Literally meaning "Hyūga family") is one of the oldest and most powerful clans in Konohagakure. All members born into the family possess the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai that gives them extended fields of vision and the ability to see chakra. The Uchiha clan's Sharingan is believed to be descended from the Byakugan.

The clan is separated into two parts, the main house (宗家, Sōke) and the branch house (分家, Bunke), a system that protects the secrets of the Byakugan from outsiders. The main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. The members of the branch house are branded with a cursed seal. This seal gives the main house members absolute control over the branch members, because they can destroy the branch members' brains with a simple hand gesture, or cause them great pain to punish them. This seal also makes sure the secret of the Hyuga's Byakugan is safe, because it seals the Byakugan after the wearer of the seal dies. Because they are essentially servants, simply because of their birth order or heritage, some branch house members are hostile to those of the main house. After the Chunin exams, the two houses have managed to at least start working out their differences. In Part II, they finally brought the two Houses together as a family, which they showed when the Hyuga battled Pain in a show of family unity.

Members of the clan are instructed in the use of the Gentle Fist style, which uses the Byakugan to view the opponent's Chakra Pathway System and deal precise blows to disable and impede the flow of chakra. Due to training in this style, Hyuga clan members tend to have excellent chakra control. This is emphasized in jutsu that utilize this chakra control, as well as the nuances of the Gentle Fist style. The clan's strongest techniques, like the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, are only allowed to be taught to members of the main house. Neji Hyuga, however, has bypassed this restriction by learning them on his own, earning a reputation as a "genius" in the clan.

Description: The Gentle Fist style of combat is based on palm strikes and generally aims to damage the body's Chakra Pathway System, thus creating difficulty by inhibiting an opponent's use of chakra. To do this, the user will forcefully insert a small amount of their own chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. The chakra can the be used to rupture or divert chakra flow, preventing them from using jutsu. It can also be used to attack the opponent's internal organs, to which the chakra pathway system is closely tied. Even the slightest tap from this style can cause major damage, hence the name "gentle fist." Because the chakra pathway system is invisible, the Byakugan is required for this style to be used effectively. Since the Byakugan is unique to the Hyuga clan, it has become their signature style of combat.

Description: This jutsu utilizes the chakra control gained through Gentle Fist training to release a huge amount of chakra from the user's chakra points right before being struck. The released chakra blocks any possible attack on the user. The user then spins rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any nearby attackers. This jutsu is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack. If they cannot rotate, the user becomes vulnerable.

Description: This jutsu closes off sixty-four specific chakra points on an opponent's body with the Gentle Fist, effectively eliminating their ability to use chakra for quite some time and making it difficult for them to move. It begins with striking two chakra points, followed by four more, then eight, then sixteen, then thirty-two, and then sixty-four strikes. Each set of strikes is done at an exponentially increasing pace and strength. The attack not only disables the enemy but also knocks them back with every set of strikes. In the anime, a minor version of this technique is Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms and the doubled version of this technique is Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms.

Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and their intended destination.

Description: This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on the inexperienced ninja.

History: Artemis Was born in the Leaf village, as his family was apart of the Great hyuga clan. His father was a great decedent of the main branch, As little Arty when unbranded from the hyuga clan mark he was raised up int the best of envorements but as his mother had committed many hanus acts they had to flee konoharu. As they fled to one of the neighboring country's kumo. As they excepted them in with open arms, his father had to spill some secret info about konoharu, as the leaf heard word of this they sent abnu to take out arts father and mother. As they where sucsesfull it left Artemis a orphan. He grew up in the lightning country as it was a hard life, but as he was trained at a young age he graisefully moved throught teh academy up to a genin.

Rp Sample: As The Unknown Shinobi Dressed in all black walked along the thin Dirk paved path, it began to rain and as the tiny droplets of water fell from the sky The Shinobi pulled back his hooded cloak revealing his face. He was a young man in his early Twenties he seemed to be fair skinned and quite good looking at that, his hair was slicked back and it was a very light gray color. The shinobi Kept a solemn look upon his face, but he had a purpose as all Ninja do and as it was not yet revealed he stayed persistent keeping up his pace. He seemed to be very eager at reaching his destination, but as the rain just seemed to increased it slowed his movement down drastically, and yet the shinobi stayed persistent venturing deeper into Rain country Territory. Soon after He breached his two mile Mark into Amegakure, as he did the rain fall had accumulated enough that it made the top layer of soil soft and Mushy, It seemed unusual to him as he was from a land far away, he was not yet accustomed to the Heavy repetition of rain.

The heavy cloak the Shinobi wore kept a good portion of the Rain water from contaminating his body but as he kept his head free and out his hair was drenched. But strangely hanging from the bottom of his cloak was a large bladed weapon, as he had not yet revealed its purpose or use it stayed a mystery. But no doubt it was just as powerful as the ninja himself, but many things were odd about The shinobi, They way he carried himself and his light colored hair. He was nothing less than attention getter, but maybe he had no intentions of being Stealthy gaining knowledge just from his looks it seemed that he gained power from brute force and well planed out taijutsu attacks.

As the The rain village Gates Came into the shinobi's line of sight, he could do nothing besides let out a sigh. He Paused only for a moment to look over the guards that stood, he pondered how he could kill them quickly. But as he had no time to waste, so he started to walk once more. The young man shook his had rapidly to release the moisture in his Grey hair. As he did he quickly pulled his black hood up over his head concealing his face completely, soon after he pulled the large bladed weapon up higher hiding its location as well. Slowly creeping down the stone layed path, The shinobi Stopped finally as he did he sighed once more, but this time he was only a few feet away from the Great Entrance. As he did the guards started to Became anxious, The shinobi simply said to them "well which one of you will be first?" He spoke in a sly evil tone that could chill someone to the bone.

Artemis lowered the first few blades his scythe from his large cloak, as he was about to strike both jounin Guards in their tracks a Strange shinobi lunged in immobilizing both of the guards. As he did Arty pulled the large scythe back up into his massive cloak, The rain stopped only for a second to bring a ray of sunshine down on the two Ninja's. Artemis then pulled back his hood revealing his Face once more, as he did it showed off his beautiful White hair and Charming good looking Features. As the missing ninja did he looked over His could be future opponent, as he spoke Artemis listened but excluded from making eye contact. He thought as the words from the unknown person sunk into his mind. "hmmm a nobody, i have never heard of.......Anomie." As Artemis Nonchalantly walked a few feet past Anomie, he stoped keeping his back to him.

Artemis looked ahead to the Large Steel door that guarded the entrance into Amegakure , Art waited for a moment and then quickly replied to Aomie, " The Names Artemis..... " Artemis sighed as he rested from speaking for just a moment, and then he quickly spoke once more, " Aomie, i have to say i have never heard of you........" He paused for a great while waiting on his reply... Artemis was very anxious as it showed on his face, achieving his goal was everything to him but first he had to successfully search through the rain village, he turned to face the great wall, as he did out of no where he took off jetting quickly twords the wall, His speed was so great that there appeared to be three of his actual bodies the first body was whole thick and it moved quickly, the second was fairly close to his original image but as it had lost some of its detail of his original appearance, it seemed to be a mere dispersed reflected image of him and it lagged trying to keep up with the first. the second on the other hand was even more transparent as it moved it seemed to be almost invisible. Every second that passed just seem to add to his ever growing speed, even for the great infamous uchiha Sharingan it was hard to keep up with his movements. As he bursted up the wall he popped up onto the top of the wall resting only for a moment as he looked over the village with his lifeless eyes.
